Photography was always a hobby until my oldest daughter was born. Not being able to afford professional portraits of her when she was born is one of my biggest regrets. After that I decided that they would never have less than professional photos of their childhood and that I would be the one to take them! Primarily self taught I learned any and everything I could about this craft. Eventually I got good enough that people were willing to pay for my work and my photography career was born!

I shoot weddings because marriage has always been a sacred thing in my family. As the child of middle school sweethearts and marrying my best friend since the 5th grade, it’s all I’ve ever known. Photography is like a Time Machine. Allowing you to relive moments over and over every time you look at an image. I can think of no better moment to relive than the day you are no longer “me”, you are “we”.

My style is heavily influenced by my street photography background. Street photography is all about e real authentic connection with your subject as well as capturing raw, organic, and candid moments. That’s what I strive to bring to my photography. Whether cinematic, bright and vibrant, moody etc. I don’t like to lock myself into one style. Rather I like to curtail my edit to what I feel works best for the style of the wedding and the vibe of the client.
