Yo! My name is Tim and I am a Houston-based photographer who loves to connect with the people I work with! The best part of photography is getting to know people’s stories which inevitably lets me in on who they are which as a result, breathes wayyyy more life into the photography side of things than anything else in my opinion. I’ve been married to the most beautiful unicorn of a woman for 6 years now and am still in disbelief she married me. I absolutely can’t dance to save my life (I can 110% guarantee your 2nd hand embarrassment with my dancing) but I’m a musician at heart so I lean heavily into making the music for others to dance to. I’m also no discriminator against and will enjoy any type of cuisine BUT, Korean food is #1 and an instant heartwinner for me! Getting into photography was more out of a personal commitment I made to myself to learn a new skill I was interested in and really go hard after it to see where it led me. Little did I know I’d enjoy it so much because it hits a lot of the “brings me joy” boxes. I really enjoy getting to hear about a person’s life, in this case, your spouse-to-be and yourself before and during a wedding day. It reminds me that every single person that we walk by, skate by, drive by, moonwalk by, or fly over MATTERS. YOU have hurt that YOU have walked through or still are in. YOU have dreams and goals that YOU strive for and YOU have things that bring YOU immense joy. Getting to those things makes photography more than just snapping nice photos. I want to know the people I work with and enjoy their company as we go through the wedding day. To me photos without connection are worthless. We’re gonna spend a whole day together anyway, so why not enjoy the heck out of it right? Whoever chooses to work with me better get freakin ready to be seen, known, and have a good time!
